TenCate Padel

Confidence in motion

Shaped by how the game is played

Padel is played in short accelerations, controlled stops, and repeated directional changes. Speed matters, but only when it remains manageable. Comfort matters, but only when it does not soften response. Our padel range is designed around that balance.

This padel solution is developed from how the game is actually played. It builds on more than 300 years of textile expertise, applied to the demands of a fast, compact, and highly dynamic sport.

Our Padel Solutions

Our padel range is developed from one material philosophy: predictable speed, controlled impact, and long-term consistency. Each construction applies this logic in a distinct way, tailored to different court systems and playing styles.

Designed Around the Game

Padel demands speed, control, and consistency. Our surface solutions are engineered to support natural movement, predictable play, and long-term reliability in every match and every condition.

Tested where materials meet players

All our padel solutions are evaluated at the Center for Turf Innovation. Testing focuses on player interaction, rotational behavior, impact response, and long-term wear development. Data and field feedback guide refinement before release, ensuring that speed, comfort, shock absorption, and uniformity are measurable characteristics rather than assumptions.

Developed and produced in-house

The yarns used in our products are developed and manufactured within specialized production facilities. Control over polymer formulation, extrusion, and texturing allows precise tuning of grip, recovery, and durability, as well as the production of bi-color yarn constructions. This in-house control enables consistent performance at scale.

Premier Padel Rotterdam

One of the most successful professional padel events goes hand in hand with high-quality playing surfaces. At this level, predictable speed, controlled impact, and consistent ball response are essential for players to perform with confidence throughout every rally.

For Premier Padel Rotterdam, all courts and playing surfaces are supplied by TenCate. The surfaces are engineered to deliver reliable, high-performance play, supporting the intensity and precision that define the top level of the game.

Member of the International Padel Cluster

TenCate Padel has joined the International Padel Cluster, an international platform connecting manufacturers, federations and other key stakeholders across the padel ecosystem. We are also a partner of the Padel Fastpace game.

Frequently asked questions

Performance

Comfort is created through fiber behavior under load. The yarn compresses during impact and gradually recovers, reducing peak forces while maintaining a direct and responsive feel rather than introducing a soft or delayed response.

The fiber system is engineered to resist flattening and directional bias. As a result, speed, comfort, and ball behavior remain within a narrow and predictable range throughout the court’s service life, even under intensive use.

The yarn structure and surface density are engineered to provide uniform ball bounce, grip, and rebound across the entire playing area, helping players anticipate ball behavior during play.

Composition

Textured yarn constructions are suitable for systems requiring stable grip and controlled speed. Depending on overall system design, they can be applied in both sand-filled and non-filled installations.

Fibrillated yarns are tape-based fibers that split into multiple filaments under use, creating a stable structure that interacts effectively with sand infill. This construction is commonly used in traditional sand-filled padel systems.

Bi-color yarn combinations are available to create a distinctive court appearance while maintaining consistent playing performance. Options include:

  • Light blue / Cobalt blue
  • Light blue / Light blue
  • Black / Black
  • Reflex blue / Blue
  • Field green / Olive green
